Junior Church

Junior Church meets every Sunday Morning during the 10:30am Service and provides targeted activities for different age groups.

Junior Church is run by a dedicated team with support from our Youth Worker. All leaders are CRB checked and have completed Safe Guarding training.

We use material provided by the ROOTS magazine which aims to find ways to open the Bible to children and young people. ROOTS is a joint, ecumenical initiative supported by Churches Together. It provides worship and learning for every Sunday of the year based on the Bible. These sessions are then adapted to fit our style and the children in each group. The intention is to help us all focus on our community, relate the Bible to our everyday lives and to grow in faith together. Our meetings are designed to be fun, interactive and, sometimes, noisy enough to be heard in the Church Service.

Children go straight to Junior Church at the start of the main morning service. Often they will join the service towards the end and provide the rest of the church family with a short presentation of what their worship comprised.

There is also a Family Room available for children under 3 years of age. This is a room off the main worship area with live audio from the service. Parents can either stay with their child or leave them in supervised care.
